Newton Library Launches New Monday Storytime Series For Toddlers

NEWTON — Newton Free Library kicked off a new weekly storytime series for its youngest patrons this summer, as two of the library's English Language Learning classes filled to capacity and a Patch reader roundup put park etiquette into local conversation this week.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

Newton Free Library debuted "My First Storytime," a new weekly program for young children, on Mondays from 10:30 to 11 a.m. this summer, with the next session set for July 27. The series joins an already full summer slate at the Homer Street library: two English Language Learning sessions, "Reading Stories and Poems and Improving Writing Skills" and "Improve Your Vocabulary," have filled to capacity, while daily ELL conversation classes continue to draw steady sign-ups.
