Newton Records 16 Property Transfers, Just Four With Disclosed Prices
Newton recorded 16 property transfers between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, but only four disclosed a sale price. Those ranged from $1,435,000 at 105 Grant Ave to $2,375,000 at 956 Walnut St Unit 7, with a median of $1,657,500. The month's top sale was the Walnut Street condo unit, purchased by Linda K. and Keith W. Hartman from Walnut Street LLC. Three of the four disclosed sales involved trustee sellers conveying to LLC buyers. Most other recorded transfers, including a cluster of three Oak Street condo units, were unpriced trust, estate or family transactions, limiting visibility into overall market values this period.
