Newton Home Sales Post $1.87 Million Median Price Amid Family Trust Transfers
Newton recorded 18 property sales from Sept. 4 to Oct. 3, with prices on file ranging from $405,000 to $4,250,000 and a median of $1,870,000 among the nine sales with recorded prices so far. The period's top sale was 66 Beaumont Ave at $4,250,000, sold Sept. 8. Nine transactions have no price yet; registry data typically takes about a week to catch up. Notably, every one of those nine involved a buyer and seller sharing a last name, consistent with trust or family transfers, while every sale between unrelated parties carried a recorded price.
